Northeast Regional Sales Manager - Grocery
Do you enjoy being a “road warrior” who will lead your company into new channels, new business, and new markets with incredible consumer products that will lead to high levels of sales, revenue, and profitability?  You will: 
  • Lead regional sales and sales management for this established perishable consumer product company; create, formalize and execute an effective strategic and tactical sales plan to increase sales and profits.
  • Develop new business, new relationships with key decision makers, new markets and new distribution channel partners to increase overall sales and profits to meet or exceed established goals and key performance indicators.
  • Create sales, promotions and merchandising strategies for existing and launching new products.
  • Maximize and leverage relationships with existing customers and markets to increase sales and profits.
  • Research, understand and stay ahead of the market, customers, industry and competitors with early identification and recommended sales strategies that incorporate customer needs, pricing, trends, opportunities and business acumen.
  • Manage, train and motivate your sales team and broker network to maximize their contribution, achieve high performance and continuously achieve excellence in sales and customer relations.
  • Demonstrate, communicate and promote customer service, corporate goals, culture and the value of a workforce.
  • Collaborate with top management, key internal functional areas including operations and distribution centers.
  • Manage all financial aspects including forecasting, budgets, and expenses.
  • Participate in external sales activities to generate qualified leads for sales opportunities including industry trade shows, seminars, webinars and events.
  • Effectively use cutting edge technology, social media and key performance indicators in sales and lead tracking.
Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ successful regional sales experience with measurable, aggressive results in perishable consumer products with new and existing retailers and distribution channel partners and a willingness to travel.  A four-year degree preferred.
  • A proven successful track record of establishing and increasing customer base, market share, key accounts, broker network, sales, revenue, and profits.
  • A proven leader who manages, trains, mentors and motivates a sales team and broker network to high levels of engagement and performance.
